Occupying a half-block site, the project is surrounded by busy traffic, a bus line, freeway ramps and an existing parking facility. A concrete core was utilized to accelerate the project schedule and made steel erection easier, faster and safer. The 13-level structure provides 294,000 SF of space for the new police headquarters and for a judicial center with nine courtrooms.
