Advocates for Women in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics (AWSEM) provides after-school science clubs for girls in 6th-12th grade. Members participate in math, science, and engineering activities designed to be fun and educational. Hoffman's female project managers, engineers and cost estimators provide hands-on learning opportunities for AWSEM girls to work with construction documents, develop budgets and see construction in action.
