For the past ten years, Sand in the City, a benefit for Kids on the Block, has been wowing visitors in Pioneer Courthouse Square – and Hoffman has been there since day one. Funds raised through sponsorship, participants and spectators support specially-trained volunteers who use puppets to teach kids about health, safety and social issues. Hoffman's people have played major roles from board membership to delivering the more than 150 yards (that's 250 tons!) of sand used each year. And of course we never miss a chance to display our sculpting craft!
