The Evergreen Aviation and Space Museums celebrate education and family fun. The Aviation Museum houses the world’s largest aircraft, Howard Hughes’ “Spruce Goose,” and its exhibits cover the first 50 years of the history of flight. The Space Museum boasts a priceless collection of spacecraft and aerospace artifacts covering the history of the second 50 years of flight, including an SR-71 Blackbird strategic recon aircraft, a Titan missile that is visible from the highway though the museum’s soaring windows and the EASA (Engineering & Aerospace Sciences Academy), which consists of classrooms, labs and lecture space.
