Hoffman has been engaged in expanding and improving facilities at Portland International Airport for over 30 years. During that time we’ve helped the Port position PDX as one of the nation’s most forward-thinking airports, incorporating sustainability, safety, and passenger amenities that have earned accolades from international travel associations. In the early 1990s Hoffman delivered the fast-track expansion of Concourse D to allow PDX to serve far East flights. In the early 2000s we completed the glass canopy that spans 180 feet over the airport’s entry, while maintaining safe, continuous access for the traveling public. We also completed two phases of Terminal Expansion South, involving over 500,000 SF of concourse space, as well as a light rail platform, Emergency Operations Center, apron and taxiway re-paving, and new baggage facilities. Since 2010 Hoffman has completed the Port’s LEED Platinum Headquarters and Parking Structure (HQ/P2) and a five-year program of Baggage Screening Improvements (BSI).
