Delivering the Most Seismically‑Resilient Water Supply in Oregon
Willamette Water Supply Reservoirs and Pipelines
One of the largest public works projects in Oregon history is happening all across Washington County. The Willamette Water Supply Project is a massive pipe system that will supply drinking water to three communities: the Tualatin Valley Water District, Beaverton and Hillsboro. All three areas expect significant population growth in the next 50 to 100 years and intend to use the water supply project as a way to meet the needs of future Washington County residents.
Hoffman is delivering a critical system poised to enhance water security across Washington County and beyond. Hoffman also constructed a new water quality building with standby power to sustain operations during outages and enable consistent water flow to the future Willamette Water Supply System (WWSS) treatment plant near Sherwood. A dedicated raw water pipeline extends from Willamette River Water Treatment Plant (WRWTP) through the WRWTP Park to the WWSS site, enhancing the overall infrastructure for future growth and adaptability.

Providing a Resilient Water Supply for Washington County
When complete, the WWSS will be one of Oregon’s most seismically-resilient water systems—built to better withstand natural disasters, protect public health, and speed regional economic recovery through restoring critical services more quickly.
