Owner and GC/CM are committed to promoting and stimulating the growth of disadvantaged business enterprises, minority business enterprises, women business enterprises and veteran owned businesses and maximizing opportunities for these firms to participate in the work of this project.  Subcontractor shall endeavor to utilize such firms through sub-tier contracting and/or material purchases and, if awarded the Work, shall provide a Good Faith Effort form (see “Proposal Forms” folder) showing their good faith efforts and achievements.  Goals are 13% WMBE Inclusion, however GC/CM has established higher goals for the following scopes of work:

  • 15% – Roofing

Bidders are expected to have a plan to achieve this included in their bid pricing and will be asked to furnish their plan if successful. Bidders may use the Good Faith Effort form included in this package to track efforts and achievements.  There are several resources available to assist Bidders with this effort. They include:

    1. Researching firms in the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise (OMWBE) website at https://omwbe.diversitycompliance.com/.
