Transformation of Spokane's Downtown Waterfront

Spokane Convention Center

The Spokane Convention Center is located in a unique setting, on the banks of the Spokane River. The centerpiece of this project is a new 100,000 SF Exhibit Hall. Renovation of existing areas provides 35,000 SF of new exhibit space and a 25,000 SF Ballroom/Banquet facility.

The concrete and steel structure includes two levels of parking directly beneath the new exhibit hall. The dramatic design of the new facility showcases a complex façade using CMU, glass, and metal panels. An enclosed all-glass riverside “Promenade” connects the new Exhibit Hall to the existing Convention Center and Opera House. The expanded Convention Center places the Spokane region in the forefront for attracting major and regional conventions, expositions, and trade shows.
