Hoffman performed substantial seismic and mechanical system upgrades for the renovation/remodel of the Oregon Department of Transportation’s headquarters, while adjacent public agencies remained unaffected. The building achieved LEED Platinum thanks to its sophisticated rain harvesting system, radiant ceiling panels, and photovoltaic rooftop solar panels. A high percentage of materials were re-used, or donated to Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore outlets.
