At Cyan/PDX, Hoffman built a condo tower designed to appeal to young urban buyers who want the amenities of downtown living at an affordable price, and with a reduced carbon footprint. The 16-story tower stands over a five-story underground garage, with 378,000 SF of space featuring compact studio and one-bedroom apartments with an efficient layout for kitchens, bathrooms, and appliances.This building received LEED Gold certification. The units support sustainable living, with low-flow fixtures, sustainable flooring materials, energy-efficient heating, cooling and lighting, and high-performance glazing. The building includes an ecoroof with native plantings, and rainwater is harvested for irrigation. Cyan/PDX also incorporates green lifestyle features to support the use of bikes and Zipcars.
