Hillsboro Stadium

Hoffman’s leadership and fast-track construction experience was a key to the success of this special design-build project. To be ready for fall sports, the owner opted for design-build delivery to meet a tight seven-month schedule. The 4000-seat stadium is high-quality throughout, with durable and easily-maintained buildings and grandstands. A unique design feature is the suspended roof, supported by connecting rods attached to four towers. The facility, which is a venue for local high school sports and community events, received a 2000 International Illumination Design Award of Merit from the Illuminating Engineering Society.
