Standing just over 500 feet, Park Avenue West is the fourth tallest building in Portland. Hoffman built the core and shell of the 30-story mixed-use tower in the heart of downtown Portland. The team implemented meticulous public safety and impact planning to address the challenges of building immediately adjacent to Nordstrom, Fox Tower, and Director Park on the MAX light rail line. The building includes six levels of below-grade parking, two floors of premium retail space, 15 floors of housing (202 residential units), and 13 floors of Class A office space. A diverse blend of exterior materials provides a mix of textural surfaces: intricate stone-framed, clear-glass storefronts at the base and a highly-transparent curtain-wall with metal-panel exterior skin above.
