The Mirabella Portland is a 30-story luxury senior independent living facility with extensive amenities, including a fitness center, pool, spa, sauna, hair salon, classroom space, and a 24th-floor dining and bar area with cityscape views. The single-level underground parking facility uses car rack storage—with cars stashed on lifts above other cars—manned by valets for the benefit of the residents. The Mirabella Portland was designed as a ‘smart’ building in conjunction with OHSU, which works with the lifestyle choices of the senior citizens who live there. Hoffman attained LEED Platinum in this unique tower, while also meeting the owner’s expectations for high-quality finishes to attract residents.
